Give your first release a clear purpose.

WHO THIS IS FOR

A useful starting point.

For a new digital product, a community platform, or a business idea that needs a focused first release.

HOW WE APPROACH IT

Before choosing the technology, we work through the people using the product, the problem it solves, and the work needed to operate it. We separate essential features from ideas that can follow later.

POSSIBLE DELIVERABLES
  • Discovery and first-release scope
  • User journeys, interface design, and prototypes
  • Web or mobile development with agreed backend connections
  • Testing, release preparation, and a plan for support

Scope, fees, timeline, and support are agreed in a proposal before work begins.

FROM BRIEF TO DELIVERY

What the work involves.

01

Define the first useful version

Identify a core user journey, key assumptions, and the features needed to complete it. Agree what is outside the first release.

02

Make the experience tangible

Use designs and prototypes to review the product before committing to the full build. Resolve unclear requirements together.

03

Build, test, and release

Develop in reviewable iterations, test the agreed journeys, and plan deployment, operational access, and the next stage.

BEFORE WE START

Questions worth asking.

Do we need a complete specification?

No. A business goal, an intended audience, and a few examples of the problem are enough to start a discovery conversation.

Should we build a website or a mobile app?

That depends on how people will use the product and whether it needs device-specific capabilities. We assess those needs before recommending a platform.

What happens after the first release?

We can agree ongoing maintenance and development. Support coverage, responsibilities, and further features are defined separately in the proposal.

PREPARE YOUR BRIEF

What to bring to the conversation.

Bring the problem you want to solve, the people you want to serve, any existing research or prototype, and your budget and timing constraints.
